DGCA allows use of mobile phones and laptops on flight mode

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation DGCA India has announced that mobile phones can remain functional on flight mode. The previous rule is being amended which banned the use of portable electronic devices (PEDs), but now you can safely use your mobile phones in all phases of flight but on a non -transmitting or flight mode without bothering to switch them off.
