airberlin completes two years of non-stop service to Curacao


Willemstad_ CuraçaoFor two years, airberlin has been the only airline to fly without a stopover from Germany to the Caribbean island of Curaçao. airberlin started the connection from Dusseldorf in November 2011 and since then has been taking travellers once a week every Tuesday on an Airbus A330-200 to the island off the coast of Venezuela. Curaçao is particularly popular with travellers to the Caribbean, owing to its long sandy beaches and unspoilt dive sites.
