Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport (GMIA) has received three awards for its recently completed Runway Safety Area project:
* The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Great Lakes Regional Airports Division, presented its 2012 Airport Planning, Environmental, and Financial Excellence Award to GMIA at the Wisconsin Aviation Conference on April 30.
