National Museum of Korea Presents Arirang Festival

Arirang Festival, a celebration of Korea’s representative folk song “Arirang,” will take place at the National Museum of Korea from June 15th to 17th.

The highlight of the festival is the Arirang performance, featuring different types of Arirang inspired by modern Korean popular music culture and traditional Arirang. Other major programs include free outdoor performances: “Arirang Smile” on June 16th and “Embraced by Arirang” on June 17th. Moreover, the permanent exhibition at the museum is open to the public for free.
