Gulf Air will increase frequencies on the Bahrain–Beirut route with four additional weekly flights during the peak summer travel season between 19 June and 14 July 2012. Gulf Air launched flights between Bahrain and Beirut in 1974. Since then, the route has grown from strength to strength with consistently high travel demand leading to the airline further augmenting its flights to serve the increasing passenger numbers particularly during the summer months.
