Louvre Hotels Group announces the opening of hotels in two new countries, Russia and Algeria. Louvre Hotels Group establishes itself first in Russia.Opened to the public in January 2012, this Tulip Inn hotel is located in the Rosa Khutor Alpine Ski Resort in the Caucasus. The resort will host downhill skiing events at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games in February 2014. A second hotel, under the Golden Tulip brand, is due to open at the beginning of the third quarter in the same resort. Both hotels will be managed by IFK Hotel Management.The arrival of Louvre Hotels Group in Russia, bringing the total number of countries in which the Group is present to 41, reflects the Group’s desire to continue its development in Eastern Europe. The Group aims to establish solid foundations for its medium and high range Tulip Inn and Golden Tulip brands in Russia, and already has two other construction projects underway in St.Petersburg and Altay region.
