Gulf Air will increase its flights to Kuwait City from 35 to 42 times a week, as of 25th March 2012, to meet growing passenger numbers. The additional flights will offer 950 extra seats on each direction and 3000 kgs of cargo capacity. The frequency increase will provide greater flight options for Kuwait passengers to travel to their choice destinations with short transit times at Bahrain airport in both directions. The new frequency in particular will ensure that all of Gulf Air’s European flights will have a transit of just about an hour in both directions via Bahrain to/from Kuwait.
