easyJet has begun operating its new route from London Luton Airport to Reykjavik in Iceland. The inaugural flight took off from London Luton Airport this morning and will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays with affordable fares starting from as little as £32.99 for a one way ticket and £58.81 for a return fare (including taxes).
In response to the popularity of the route, easyJet has committed to a full year-round service to Reykjavik to meet passenger demand, with seats for the 2012 winter season going on sale on Thursday 29 March.
