Only two years after its market launch, airberlin’s business points program has registered more than 10,000 customers from small to medium-sized businesses. At International Tourism Fair (ITB), airberlin CEO Hartmut Mehdorn congratulated Roman Schikorsky, head of Berlin-based mmpro film production GmbH, on becoming the 10,000th participant in the corporate program for small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs). “As an international film production company with more than 1,200 film crews worldwide we have made an educated decision to use the business points service. All colleagues collect business points and we take advantage of the benefits offered,” said Schikorsky. Participating SMEs using airberlin and NIKI for business flights can save cash: Each employee’s flight is credited with business points that can be redeemed for award flights. In addition, participants in the topbonus frequent flyer program can also collect status and award miles on their flights with airberlin, NIKI and Etihad Airways.
