Fireside Lounge Introduces Monthly Wine Experience Events

Fireside Lounge is offering a monthly Wine Experience - a new signature event produced by the Resort’s Executive Chef Jason Harrison and Sommelier Steven Teaver to offer an innovative learning experience about different wines. The inaugural Wine Experience will be on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. The cost is USD 45.00 per person. Included is a cocktail hour with delectable hors d’oeuvres and paired wines. For the first Wine Experience event, the theme is “Purification,” and wines featured will reflect the purest forms of wine, including dry farmed, organic, biodynamic and naturally fermented wines. Four wines are included in the tasting, including Pascal Jolivet-Sancerre (dry farmed); Benziger Family Winery Chardonnay (biodynamic); Abberant Cellars Pinot Noir (organic, naturally fermented), and Chateau Aney Bordeaux Rouge (dry farmed).
