Bombardier Aerospace announced that each of its eight wholly owned service centres in the U.S. has been awarded a 2011 Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Diamond Award Certificate of Excellence, the industry’s highest honour for aviation maintenance.This award recognizes Bombardier’s commitment to offering customers access to the most highly skilled workforce through an extensive training program. The service centres in Hartford and Dallas have earned the Diamond Award of Excellence every year since their inceptions in 1991. The award, sponsored by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), is presented annually to U.S.-based AMT employers that take a proactive role in training their technical workforce.
