Network Rail's Robin Gisby to speak at Infrarail 2012

Network Rail’s Managing Director, Network Operations, Robin Gisby is to deliver a keynote speech during Infrarail 2012. His presentation will take place on 2 May as part of the seminar programme being staged during the three-day exhibition of rail infrastructure products and services at the UK’s National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 1 to 3 May.

A highly regarded figure in the rail industry, Robin Gisby took up the new position of Managing Director, Network Operations in June, which compliments the recent changes to the Network Rail route structure. Until this appointment Robin has been Director, Operations and Customer Services since May 2004 and was appointed to the board of Network Rail in October 2008. This was following many successful years in the company where he held a variety of roles which included Director of the Southern Region, Director of the Eastern Region and with Railtrack as Director Network Development and Director of Freight.
