Southwest is playing Santa and giving the gift of bonus Rapid Rewards Points to its Members with two separate Rapid Rewards promotions that launched recently. The first promotion rewards double Tier Qualifying Points to Rapid Rewards Members with each one-way flight booked and flown from Dec. 22, 2011, through Jan. 31, 2012. Rapid Rewards Members simply need to register for the promotion at the web site prior to travel and book and fly between Dec. 22, 2011, and Jan. 31, 2012, to receive the double Tier Qualifying Points.
