The number of the tourists in Kaliningradskaya oblast has increased

The active development of the tourism has resulted in a growth of the tourists in Kaliningradskaya oblast: 420 thousand people visited the region in 2011.

This information was announced during the seminar in Svetlogorsk, which was held by the Agency for Tourism of Kaliningradskaya oblast.The Head of the regional tourism agency Elena Kropivnova said 420 thousand tourists visited the region in 2011 (+20% in comparison with 2010). The tourism authorities connect such growth with the active work in the framework of the regional program of the development of the tourism.
