Kenan Center to Host 'Niagara Wine and Beer Fest'

The inaugural “Niagara Wine and Beer Fest,” scheduled to take place January 28 at the Kenan Center Arena, will feature local wineries, a variety of breweries, and farm and food selections, with proceeds benefitting the Kenan Center and its diverse arts, education, and recreation programs.

Co-chairs Mark Jaekle and Kellena Kane say that enthusiasm for a wine and beer festival has been high ever since the conversation began over a year ago. “There’s been a tremendous amount of interest in a festival that showcases the exceptional wineries of the Niagara Wine Trail as well as the artisanal products of the local farms, and with the Kenan Center located right at the doorway to the wine and agricultural region, it seemed like a natural event for us to undertake,” says Kane.
