A welcome Viking invasion! Top travel writers fly in from Denmark!

NO REPRO FEE 14/11/2017, Dublin – As the Republic of Ireland gets ready to take on Denmark later today (Tuesday, 14 November) in the qualifying campaign for the World Cup, Tourism Ireland in Copenhagen is taking the opportunity to capitalise on the high profile sporting event. The organisation invited a group of top Danish travel writers to come and experience Dublin and some of our visitor attractions, soak up the pre-match atmosphere and attend the game. With plenty of ‘hype’ about Ireland through the media in Denmark right now, both qualifying matches have proved to be a fantastic opportunity for Tourism Ireland to highlight the island of Ireland as a wonderful holiday destination. As well as the visit by the influential journalists, a busy programme of social media promotions over the past week has been highlighting special offers and lots of great reasons to visit Dublin and Ireland.
