UNWTO says that China outbound tourism is still at top

Chinese tourists are going with spending on travel abroad in spite of the challenges in recent years, as per the UNWTO statistics. UNWTO’s 2016 results on international tourism expenditure from major outbound markets shows Chinese tourists spent 12% more ($11bn) to reach $261bn in 2016, as travel numbers rose by 6% to reach 135 million.
