Uganda ready to host Africa Travel Association

Russian tourists in South Korea to double

Official says, 2014 Brazil World Cup to strike Peru’s tourism industry

Carlos Canales, the president of the Lima Convention Bureau, said that the dates of the World Cup, which commences from June 12 and ends on July 13, happen together with Peru’s high season, when hotels, airlines and tour operators traditionally see their largest earnings of the year. Network Rail announces follow-up work to Dawlish Sea Wall following successful reinstatement of train services


Network RailThe plans involve raising the sea wall in front of the site of the main breach, to provide extra resilience and support.


The sea wall runs at a high level in front of Dawlish, except for a 340 metre stretch between Coastguards Footbridge and Rockstone (aka Blackbridge) Footbridge. This section was left at a lower level when the railway was originally built in the 19th century due to pressure from a local landowner.

Qantas set to link Perth and Newman with charter services


QantasQantas today confirmed it has secured a three year initial term contract for charter services for BHP Billiton Iron Ore’s Jimblebar mine, in Newman, Western Australia.


The charter services will be operated by the Qantas Group’s wholly owned subsidiary, Network Aviation, on its Fokker-100 aircraft between Perth and Newman from 9 June 2014.
