U.S. Transportation Secretary LaHood Announces $3.9 Million Grant to Build Bowman Municipal Airport in North Dakota

U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced a $3.9 million Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant to construct a new airport in Bowman, North Dakota.

“The North Dakota oil boom has sparked an increase in air traffic throughout the region, which this new airport will help address," Secretary LaHood said.
